Southern Cross
About this image
A recent trip to Sydney gave me the chance to capture the iconic Southern Cross, or Crux one of the smallest yet most recognisable constellations in the night sky. Visible mainly from the Southern Hemisphere, its four bright stars have guided travellers and navigators for centuries and feature prominently on the Australian flag.
